A misty sunrise lights up the sky with warmth, reflected over a the calm waters of Lulworth Cove. This early morning trip took in a less conventional viewpoint of the famous horseshoe shaped bay. Rather than concentrating on the normal viewpoints I made the most of local details such as the kelp to add interest to accompany the colours.
A long exposure softens both the swirling mists which the early morning sun shines through, but also the water lapping at the small rocks at the edge of the bay. On the cliffs in the distance, you can make out a group of photographers in their choice of location, I suspect they had an unlucky trip spent trying to keep the mist off of their cameras!
